Hi!  Hi! This is crb3617 coming back after months of disappearance, now under the name "Quantum Leap Studio". Well... I named it "studio" just for the sake of coolness and officiality, cuz in fact, the whole studio is just only me (plus few of my friends occasionally) LOL

Bullet; Red This deviation is the result of my 30-hour Photoshop attempt to reimagine what a glorious downtown would look like if it had been completely abandoned for years. So... the aim is basically to create a melancholic, post-apocalyptic scenery like what we've seen in movies or games.
Bullet; Red The location in this picture is one of the most crowded shopping districts in Thailand–Siam Square. It is also a place where students come to take supplementary courses after school.

Bullet; Green This artwork is wholly done in Adobe Photoshop CC with the assistance of Cintiq 13HD drawing tablet.
Bullet; Green Time spent: 25-30 hours
Bullet; Green Stock images: The original photo is taken by me. Approximately half of the stock photos I used (mostly those with trees and grasses) are also taken by me–around the overgrown part of the campus. The other half are from dozens of wonderful deviantArtists listed below!

Ooo I love it!  Post-apocalypse is my favorite art genre.  One of my faves, anyway.  This pic is seamless.  Great job!

Oh about your comment on my YouTube video (sorry it's not there anymore cuz I just re-uploaded the video),
I tried my best to choose the images where those plants kinda stand out from the background. For example, that bush covering the van was easy to cut out because the original photo where it is from has the bush very well-lit in contrast to its shadowy background. In this case you can just use the Magic Eraser Tool (if you're using Photoshop) to wipe out all the shady areas in one click!

But in most cases you don't really need to be too precise cutting out trees since nobody's gonna recognize those random plants anyway haha. What matters is to make the edges look natural. So here I use the Grasses and Plants Brushes from Redheadstock.

Anyway, thanks for watching!!
